The Fifth BHD Symposium and Second HLRCC Symposium was hosted by Professor Stéphane Richard at the École du Louvre in Paris, on 28th-29th June 2013. We were delighted to see so many of you there and would like to thank you for your participation and for making the Symposium such a success.
Invited speakers included Professor William G. Kaelin Jr. from the Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, USA; Dr Bernard Escudier from Institute Gustave-Roussy in Villejuif, France; and Professor Bin Tean Teh from the National Cancer Centre Singapore and Duke-National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School.
The patient and families sessions took place on Saturday 29th June, and was led by Sophie Deveaux (Le Kremlin-Bicètre, France). Attendees had the chance to talk to clinicians about their symptoms, learn more about BHD and meet other patients from around the world.
