Dr Masaya Baba

Dr Masaya Baba is a staff scientist in the Urologic Oncology Branch of the National Cancer Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health in the United States, in the laboratory of Dr W. Marston Linehan. The Urologic Oncology Branch performs clinical trials evaluating and treating patients affected with Birt-Hogg-Dubé as well as basic research. Dr Baba, who trained as a urologist in Japan, leads the development of mouse models of BHD syndrome, in order to understand the molecular mechanisms of tumour formation.
