The BHD Literature Database has been updated with a study by Nahorski et al.

Through yeast-2-hybrid analysis, the authors identified a potential novel interacting partner for folliculin, a protein named p0071 or plakophilin 4, which is linked with rho-signalling. Nahorski et al. found that deficiency of folliculin resulted in increased RhoA expression and activity as well as disordered cytokinesis.

These results are very interesting in helping to elucidate the function of folliculin.
