Gorospe et al. (2015) have reported a new BHD case study of a 74 year old man who first presented with right flank pain. CT imaging identified bilateral multifocal renal tumours and pulmonary cysts. The patient also had a history of recurrent pneumothorax and benign skin growth. Based on the CT imaging and medical history BHD was suspected and confirmed by genetic testing. The patient’s largest tumour was successfully treated by radioablation. This case highlights how useful imaging can be in differential diagnosis of BHD.
