Meet the Experts is a virtual event held every 2-3 months to bring together Birt-Hogg-Dubé syndrome (BHD) experts and the BHD community. Genetic counsellors, clinicians and scientists from around the world share their knowledge and answer your questions about BHD.
Our next event is with Professor Lisa Henske who will be discussing her work on BHD and lung cysts. The event is taking place on Wednesday 1st February at 5pm UK time (12pm EST).
Lisa is a medical oncologist at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She provides clinical care for individuals with kidney and lung manifestations of BHD and is the Director of the Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care. Her research laboratory is focused on the pathogenesis and therapy of BHD and tuberous sclerosis complex.
As always, there will be a Q+A session during the event, so register now to secure your place!
