Professor Elizabeth Henske

Professor Elizabeth Henske is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Center for LAM Research and Clinical Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. Professor Henske is a well-recognised leader in tuberous sclerosis (TSC), lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) and BHD research. The Henske lab focuses on deciphering the genetic, molecular and cellular mechanisms of the pathogenesis of TSC, LAM and BHD and has described significant findings in these fields. Among her many activities, Professor Henske is also on the Board of Directors of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and an Associate Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
